The owner, Mike Jarvis, was born and raised in Southwest Virginia. His life was heavily impacted by his grandfather, Jack. When the idea came to create the mini golf course, Mike knew he had to incorporate the values his grandfather taught him, such as appreciating the special places he grew up around.

The Traveling Bear is a unique indoor mini-golf course that takes travelers to some of the coolest spots in our area. As you travel with Big Jack from mini-golf course holes 1-18, you will have seen and experienced our home in a unique way.
